Two new exciting free courses due to start this September in Ballon

Have you basic computer skills and would like to learn how to improve them? An Information and Communication Technology (ICT) course is due to start this September in the Ballon Business & Training Centre on Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 9.30am-12.30pm. The modules are Information Technology Skills, Desktop Publishing, Computer Applications, Mathematics, Work Experience, Communications, Word Processing and Web Design. Or maybe you would like to develop your gardening/ horticulture skills? A horticulture course QQI Level 5 is starting this September also in the Ballon Business & Training Centre on Wednesdays from 10am-1pm & 1.30pm – 4.30pm.  The modules are Plant Identification & Use, Plant Science, Social Science & Growing Media, Plant Protection, Fruit & Vegetable Production, Plant Propagation, Communications and Work Practice.  Applicants will need to have completed a QQI Level 4 course in Horticulture or have an equivalent qualification.  Please click on this link to find out more.
